The Aberdeen Baker Incorporation held their Term Tea on 16th May 2022. A background to the dinner was given by Ex Deacon Ian Brown. The Term Tea was historically an occasion to mark the days collecting of Feus from tenants of properties in and around Aberdeen who occupied land belonging to the Incorporation. Land included Kincorth, parts of Ellon and the Trinity, Springbank and Nellfield Cemeteries.
Although there are no longer Feuduties in the present day, the Term Tea is held in recognition of the important part Feuduties played in the Incorporations finances in days gone by.
