On the 21st of September 2022 a meeting was held in Trinity Hall where the members were given the opportunity to re-swear their Oath of Loyalty to His Majesty King Charles III. As each member upon entrance to the Trade, automatically swears an Oath to the Sovereign, it was thought that this event should not be missed.
The senior office bearers commencing with the Patron, the Reverend Iain Thomson, followed by the Deacon Convener Bruce Campbell and the Master of Trades Hospital Andy Leiper, took the Oath of allegiance, thereafter the seven individual Trade Deacons took the Oath on their own behalf and on behalf of their Trade. Afterwards each individual member that attended took their Oath supervised by the Patron.
