On 17th November 2012, the annual Dinner Dance was hosted by the Aberdeen Fleshers Incorporation, during which, funds were raised by attendees.

The Fleshers Incorporation matched the donations received and two charities benefitted from the generosity:

Friends of Roxburghe House‘, In memory of James Barber -a specialist palliative care unit in Aberdeen where care concentrates on symptom control for patients with life-limiting illness

and ‘Famine Relief for Orphans in Malawi‘, a charity set up to help feed and support orphans in Malawi during a period of famine.
