The day began with Convener Court Members assembling at Trinity Hall for our Remembrance Sunday Service, a time of reflection and gratitude.
Following this, Members joined the procession and wreath-laying ceremony at the War Memorial on Schoolhill, before attending a service at the Kirk of St Nicholas.
The morning concluded with the historic Kirking of the Seven Incorporated Trades of Aberdeen—a ceremony that has united our city’s craftsmen for centuries.
The Kirking is more than a tradition; it is a symbol of continuity, community, and commitment to the values that have shaped Aberdeen for generations. We are honoured to uphold this heritage and ensure its place in the life of our city.
