    Son of John Turner, Glasgow, and Mary Nicoll.

  • Educated at Allan Glen’s School, Glasgow, and Glasgow University.
  • Apprentice to James Bannatyne, Glasgow.
  • Assistant then partner with Adam Thomson & Ross, advocates.
  • 1940-46 – War service with Scots Guards and Royal Regt. of Artillery.
  • Clerk of the Peace for the County of the City of Aberdeen
  • 1954 – Joint Clerk and Assessor to the Seven Incorporated Trades of Aberdeen.
  • 1970 – 

    Died 5th February
