The Aberdeen Baker Incorporation gathered at Trinity Hall on Saturday, 17th January 2026, for its annual Dinner Dance – a cherished occasion celebrating fellowship, tradition, and the enduring heritage of one of the city’s oldest Trades.

Deacon Kevin Leiper and Boxmaster Tristan Ross welcomed members, guests, and friends to an evening that beautifully reflected the spirit of the Bakers. They were joined by First Master Gary Leslie, whose presence added to the significance of the event and the strong sense of continuity within the Incorporation.

The evening began with a warm reception in the Minor Hall before guests made their way to the Major Hall for dinner. Entertainment was provided by the Mustang Band, whose lively set kept the atmosphere vibrant throughout the night. Guests enjoyed some traditional Scottish dances, with the dance floor filled from early in the evening as members and visitors enthusiastically took part in reels and favourites enjoyed across generations.

Special appreciation is offered to Boxmaster Ross, for his organisation of this successful event.
