The Wrights & Coopers are delighted to welcome Scott Bremner following his successful completion of the process to become a member of the Incorporation.
As part of this process, Scott completed his Essay Piece, demonstrating a high level of craftsmanship, skill, and attention to detail. His chosen project was a hardwood presentation box designed to house a ceremonial bust, showcasing both the traditional skills associated with the Wrights & Coopers and his own creativity and workmanship.
Scott’s Essay Master was Ex Deacon Alan Steele, who provided guidance and support throughout the process. He was also supported by Oversman Ex Deacon Convener George Stevenson and Ex Deacon Mark Constable.
The completed presentation box is an excellent example of the high standard of workmanship expected of an Essay Piece, combining practical function with refined craftsmanship and a strong respect for the traditions of the Incorporation.
Scott was formally welcomed into the Wrights & Coopers, marking an important milestone and recognising the time, effort, and dedication he invested in completing his Essay Piece.
The Wrights & Coopers extend their congratulations to Scott on this achievement and wish him every success as he continues his journey within the Incorporation.
Congratulations, Scott!
