The Deacon Convener, Andy Leiper was delighted to attend the Captain’s Dinner on Saturday at Aberdeen Music Hall. With generous sponsorship from Balmoral Group, the evening offered a vibrant celebration of Scottish culture—complete with whisky tasting and lively ceilidh dancing that had everyone on their feet.
Copies of the recently published book “The Seven Incorporated Trades of Aberdeen; A History of Helping to Shape a City and its People”, written by Ex Deacon Convener Graeme Nicol, were gifted to the Captains of the Tall Ships currently sailing across the globe. It now journeys with them, echoing the spirit of our city and the values of the Seven Incorporated Trades of Aberdeen.
